It is not too late to request an extra resource over summer!

UWS Careers & Cooperative Education is still accepting Placement Requests for Summer Vacation Projects.

For $3,000 + GST (less for community and not-for-profit organisations) you can resource a 5-week project which has been ‘put on the backburner’ whilst assisting in the career development of a UWS student or recent graduate. Projects can be extended as required. Please see the attached Vacation Program Information for more information about our Summer Vacation Projects.

UWS handles the advertising, recruitment, payroll and insurance, to give you a hassle-free staffing solution. Vacation Project students receive training in project management, business communication and report writing, and all placements are monitored by Careers & Cooperative Education staff, to give you peace of mind.

To express your interest in hosting a Summer Vacation Project, please complete the attached Placement Request Form and email it to careers@uws.edu.au or contact Elien Weeks, Program Coordinator, on 4736 0364.

As projects will be advertised to students from 22 September, please submit your Placement Request Form by 19 September to benefit from the full period of promotion to students.
